Manifesto in Full

University should be a place where you grow, not where you quietly fall apart. Too many students are overwhelmed, burnt out, unsafe, or unsure where to turn. I am running because no one should face those experiences alone.

Why I Care

Well-being isn't just posters during exam season, it's knowing who to call when you're scared, knowing that support exists if you're being stalked or controlled, knowing neurodivergent burnout isn't personal failure, knowing violence against women, LGBTQ+ students, and marginalised groups will never be ignored.

Community & Wellbeing should mean protection, visibility, and real support.

My Commitments

Real Support for Domestic Violence & Stalking
Liverpool has one of the highest domestic abuse rates in the UK, and students are not exempt. I will make support visible, strengthen links with specialist services, improve safe reporting, and introduce mandatory training for society and sports committees so student leaders can recognise concerns and signpost support confidently.

Tackling Burnout & Neurodivergence
Academic pressure is intense and too often dismissed. I will push for clearer academic flexibility, a better understanding of neurodivergent burnout, realistic workload expectations, and workshops focused on sustainable productivity rather than toxic pressure.

Standing Firm Against Violence & Harassment
I will advocate all year-round anti-violence campaigns, strengthen links between welfare teams, campus security, and external services, and ensure students know exactly how to report safely.

My Promise

I will listen without judgment and act with urgency.

Vote Lucia Di Michele for safety, support, and a community that truly cares.
