Manifesto in Full

Expand Sport Facilities: I will campaign the university to expand facilities available for sport teams, including an increase in sports hall training times. Increasing work with courses and sport stakeholders to provide additional support for student groups and university, helping performance and sense of belonging while offering work experience for students to help clubs.

Increase Student Led Roles/Campaigns: Creating dedicated ambassadors for initiatives such as Black History Month, LGBTQ+, Women's History Month and Movember (plus many more). This lets students take the lead in initiatives they are passionate about, putting the STUDENT in Students' Union. This will also see an expansion in student group exec committees to give more student leadership opportunities. Between these roles, they expose real student stories and help feedback to improve the student experience.

Sense of Belonging: Allowing students to thrive and love their time at LJMU. Showcasing and spotlighting student groups, making students proud of their groups, through creating content with them and showing them off to the wider university. Additionally, increasing sense of belonging through equipping student leaders with the skills to create an inclusive and welcoming environment. Committee members play a key role in student sense of belonging and it is also a great opportunity to boost a CV. The better we equip our student leaders, the smoother our groups run, allowing students to thrive.
