Triple C (Liverpool) is an independent, incorporated charity in Liverpool 11, serving local communities for over 20 years.Founded by three Anglican churches, our main aim is to bring about positive change and improve the quality of life for people facing disadvantage in the L11 area of Liverpool. We encourage community involvement; our small staff team, alongside an amazing group of committed volunteers, deliver activities and services which are driven by local need. We aim to be a real living wage employer when funding will allow. As a key service provider in Norris Green, we have a long running Children & Families Project and free Debt Advice service, Community Café (free hot meal in a warm community space) and a Foodbank alongside a volunteering programme. We guide people through our services or refer them to other resources as needed. We collaborate with various local organisations, including health services, social landlords, councillors, churches, police, and the Credit Union.
L11 faces multiple deprivation challenges:
We aim to bridge the gap in this fragmented community and foster a thriving, unified community.
Triple C with North Liverpool Foodbank plays a crucial role in the local community by providing three days’ worth of nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to individuals and families facing crisis. Volunteers are essential to every aspect of the foodbank’s operations, from sorting and storing donated food to packing parcels that are distributed to those in need. The foodbank works closely with local professionals—such as doctors, social workers, and police—who identify people in crisis and issue foodbank vouchers to them.
Volunteers welcome clients warmly, providing a friendly environment where they can receive food parcels alongside a hot drink or meal. Beyond the practical support, volunteers help signpost people to additional services to address long-term challenges. The foodbank relies on donations from schools, churches, businesses, and individuals, and volunteers also assist in managing these donations and raising awareness.
This opportunity suits anyone committed to making a difference through compassionate, hands-on community support. Training and ongoing guidance are provided, with volunteers playing a vital role in helping prevent hunger, homelessness, family breakdown, and mental health issues in North Liverpool.
This role offers the chance to directly impact lives and be part of a dedicated team working to give hope and relief to people in hardship.
