The South and East African Society (SEAS) brings together students from across the vibrant and diverse regions of South and East Africa. Whether you're from the region, have heritage ties, or simply interested in the culture, SEAS is your home away from home at John Moores University.
SEAS was founded to celebrate and share the richness of South and East African cultures while providing a supportive space for students to connect, learn, and grow. Our community includes students from countries such as Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Somalia, South Sudan, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, South Africa, and beyond.
Through social events, cultural showcases, educational talks, and collaborative projects, we aim to promote unity, awareness, and pride in our heritage.
