Manifesto in Full

Hello, my name is Pelumi Adetula I am running for VP Activities because I feel I have what it takes to become a VP of a society as I am very confident and outgoing person who always likes to make a difference to my community and my being VP will improve on that because I would love to represent this University in an excellent way with my authenticity.  

I have experience as course rep in both this university and college where I collect information from other students which I present during the meetings and the staff will give their own feedback. I’m also a student ambassador where I help on events such as open days and applicant days by telling students how LJMU Is like. I was also a Deliveroo SBA where I promoted the brand by creating content for them. I also volunteered to go and speak to GMCA about plans from a Youth Guarantee for young people such as to help with education, work and skills for people who don't have the opportunity for it.  

If elected, I will:  

·      Present at networking events in the UK about what my society is and what I do in the society  

·      Speak to the University to organise trips outside Liverpool and abroad for more opportunities  

·      A welcoming & leavers fair in the start and end of the year as a celebration
