Manifesto in Full

University is hard enough, students shouldn’t feel unsupported, unrepresented or left behind.

I’m running for President to make sure students feel genuinely supported and represented at LJMU, not just on paper, but in real life.

I understand the pressure students are under. Balancing university with work, finances, caring responsibilities, and mental health isn’t easy, and too often support feels hard to find or poorly explained. I want to change that.

As President, I will focus on making support clearer, more accessible, and more student-led. That means better communication about wellbeing services, academic support, financial help, and opportunities that actually benefit students.

I’m passionate about community and growth. I believe university should be more than just lectures and deadlines. It should help students build belief in themselves, make connections, and feel like they belong. I will advocate for inclusive events, development opportunities and spaces where students can grow both personally and professionally.

I believe the best decisions come from listening. In saying that, I will work closely with students, societies, and university services to ensure student voices shape what happens at LJMU.

If elected, I will proceed with empathy, honesty, and action. My goal is simple: I want to make LJMU a place where every student feels supported, confident, and empowered to succeed.
