Through rain or shine, Liverpool has so much to offer no matter what mood you’re in. Here are some of the ways you can make the most out of a bank holiday weekend right here in your university city. Liverpool is best known for its incredible night life, unique independent restaurants and bars, exceptional experiences and above all – it’s creative and vibrant people. Here's our list of top picks that we think you'll love.

Food and drinks

Hi Barbies! Camp and Furnace are hosting a Barbie party like no other on Saturday 26th August, where you will have the opportunity to have food, drinks and party in Barbieland.

Blush Rooftop Gardens are also hosting a Paws and Prosecco event on Sunday 27th August – a ‘woof’top party you don’t want to miss!

We think that PINS Social Club is a great way to spend your bank holiday – whether you fancy a game of bowling and a few drinks, or a wholesome Sunday Feast (Sunday 27th August) you’ll find something there you’ll enjoy.

Entertainment

It’s Beatles Week! Celebrate International Beatleweek Festival right here in Liverpool, where visitors from all over the globe come to celebrate the iconic scouse band. Many venues across the city, such as the Cavern Club, Ten Streets Social and The Beatles Story Exhibition will have events on over the weekend.

Seeking an adrenaline rush? Head over to Liverpool’s newest attraction, Gravity Max, and spend a day filled with go karting, gaming and crazy golf - open all weekend.

Experiences

If you love to get creative, head over to the Baltic Triangle this weekend and attend Zap Graffiti arts to learn about the elements of street art (this event is also child friendly).

While you’re in the Baltic Triangle, why not head over to the Jamaica Street carnival, visit the large outdoor market stalls, listen to some amazing live music from local artists and check out the work of some of Liverpool’s local creatives. (Sunday 27th August)
