We're John Moores Students' Union, or JMSU for short. We're here to help you make the most of life at LJMU, from societies and sports clubs to volunteering, student voice, events and support when you need it.

And your first stop? Freshers. Whether you’re joining LJMU for the first time or coming back for another year, Freshers is for everyone. Expect two weeks of events, pop-ups, activities and more freebies than you can fit in a tote bag.

Your Freshers line-up

We're hosting over two weeks of free events to help you settle in, meet new people and get to know the city. They're free and open to everyone, whether you're brand new to LJMU or returning for another year. Tickets are released from 7 September, tap a flight to book. Boarding closes when tickets sell out.
