Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation is the only charity in the UK wholly dedicated to the defeat of lung cancer. The aims of the charity is to:
Beat lung cancer the biggest cancer killer
Research into a cure
To make life better for people living with lung cancer
To stop children smoking to prevent the next generation getting lung cancer
Today, lung cancer is the biggest cancer killer but tomorrow we will beat it

Get ready for a spooktacular day!
We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join us at Spooky Welly Walk 2026 at Sefton Park , Liverpool, on Saturday 24th October.
Spooky welly walk is a fantastic family fundraising event, bringing families together for a fun-filled Halloween-themed day while raising vital funds to support people and families affected by lung cancer.
There are lots of different ways you can get involved, including:
- Welcoming families and participants
- Stewarding and helping people around the event
- Running fun activity stalls
- Helping with Creepy Crafts
- Supporting our Spooky Storytelling
- Encouraging families in the Zombie Fitness Zone
- Running the Terrifying Tattoos stall
- Helping in our Bugfest Beauty Parlour
- Helping with the Yucky Dip
- Assisting at the Mobile Farm
- Supporting our Monster Market
No previous volunteering experience is needed- just enthusiasm, a friendly attitude and a willingness to get involved!
Whether you're volunteering on your own, or with friends, you'll be an important part of making the day fun, safe and memorable for thousands of families.
