The Environmental Sustainability and Energy Team at LJMU are working on a number of workstreams, including carbon and energy, biodiversity, waste, and travel, among others. Volunteering with the team not only supports LJMU to reach its objectives for environmental sustainability, but will provide learning experiences and opportunities to make a positive impact on campus and in the local community.

We have developed a new community garden at the back of the Sport Building and are having a launch event to celebrate! Come along and get stuck in as we plant winter crops. You can also find out how you can get involved throughout the year.
Where? Meet outside front of Sport Building
What do I need to bring? All equipment will be provided.
What should I wear? Please dress for the weather. Wear something warm/ waterproof if the weather is cold/wet; suncream if it’s sunny!
Who can attend? This opportunity is open to everyone – no experience is needed!
