How to Write Your VP Activities Manifesto
Your manifesto must be 250 words and include three clear commitments.
1. Gathering Ideas
Ask yourself:
- Why do I want to be VP Activities?
- What changes will most benefit student groups?
- How can I improve participation and inclusion?
- What challenges do clubs and societies face?
Include experience such as society leadership, volunteering, events, coaching, or community involvement.
2. Boiling Down Ideas
Condense your ideas into three realistic commitments that improve student activity, participation or support. Keep language clear and student-friendly.
3. Get SMART
- Specific
- Measurable
- Achievable
- Relevant
- Time-bound
4. Test Your Manifesto
Share your draft with society leaders, teammates, or student volunteers to get feedback on your ideas.
