About Us

Shwmae! Welcome to the home of all things Welsh for LJMU students in Liverpool!

Our goal is to create a community where students can connect and meet other Welsh people. The community allows Welsh students to flourish from being surrounded by people with one thing in common, our Welsh! Whether you speak Welsh or not, from the North or South, the Welsh society is a home away from home for all Welsh students.

Key Information (When, Where and How Often We Meet)

We provide a range of socials, including pub quizzes and viewing parties for major Welsh sporting events and tournaments. More socials will be announced via our Instagram, so follow to stay up to date!
