Description

About Our Group

The Walking Society has been created to allow everyone to get involved with the student community, whether that be exercising or socialising. There is no pressure or stress, you don't have to be good at sport and you can attend the walks whenever you want.

Joining the Walking Society will help you to explore in and around Liverpool without being alone, especially if you are new to the city as it can be quite daunting. The Walking Society allows you to escape from the everyday stresses and provides a space to have fun and make friends.

We have a lot of fun activities to get involved with:

- Charity Walks, we have done a half-marathon walk to Aintree.

- Sports Collabs, we have previously done boxing, yoga, rounders, and casual sports.

- Social Events, both drinking and sober!

- Getting involved with events around Liverpool, such as the Festival of Lights and the Christmas Markets.

- Out of City Trips.

Follow our socials and join our Whatsapp group to stay up to date with the walking and social events calander.
