The Taylor Swift Society is a student-led community at Liverpool John Moores University that brings together fans of one of the most iconic artists of our generation. Whether you're a day-one Swiftie or just discovering her discography, the society is a warm, welcoming space where music, friendship, and fun go hand-in-hand. Expect themed meetups, chill-out sessions, and an ever-growing network of students connected by a shared appreciation for Taylor Swift’s artistry.
About Us
LJMU students… can we ask you a question? Do you love Taylor Swift? If your answer is “yes” (or even “maybe”), then you’ve found your people! The Taylor Swift Society was recently formed by a group of students from various courses and year groups who all share one thing in common — their admiration for Taylor Swift.
We created this society to be more than just a fan club. It’s a safe, inclusive, and welcoming space where you can truly be yourself while bonding with others over music that speaks to us all. From making friendship bracelets and themed quizzes to relaxed listening sessions of folklore or 1989 (Taylor’s Version), our activities are as varied and magical as Taylor’s discography. And if you're not feeling social one week? That’s okay — just come along to vibe and unwind.
Whether you've been a fan since Fearless or you're still figuring out the difference between Red and reputation, everyone is welcome. Our only rule? Come as you are, and enjoy the music.

Our meetings are designed to be as flexible and accessible as possible for everyone. While we typically plan to meet on Thursdays, this may change depending on upcoming events, album releases, or scheduling needs. We aim to make sure nobody misses out on the excitement!

Committee
Each society is led by a student committee responsible for running the society, organising activities, and representing its members. The committee is chaired by the Society President, with support from other elected roles.
