Rounders is a fun, fast-paced bat-and-ball game that brings people together through teamwork, energy, and excitement. Combining elements of cricket and baseball, it’s a sport that’s easy to pick up and enjoy, whether you're playing for fitness, friendly competition, or just for the love of the game. Played outdoors, it’s also a great way to enjoy fresh air and stay active.
Our Rounders Club welcomes players of all ages and abilities — from first-timers to seasoned team players. We host regular training sessions, matches, and social games designed to build skills, boost confidence, and most importantly, have fun. More than just a game, we’re a supportive and spirited community that thrives on laughter, encouragement, and shared moments on the field. Grab a bat and join us — it’s more than sport, it’s a celebration of play.

Since 2017, our Rounders club has grown into a friendly and welcoming community. We organise weekly themed socials around Liverpool City Centre that are a highlight for many members, creating a close-knit group that supports each other and has a lot of fun. Rounders is an emerging sport in universities, and we regularly travel across the UK for tournaments and friendly matches. These events are great opportunities to play, learn, and enjoy time away from campus.
Membership is £30 per year, which includes weekly training sessions, free tournament participation, access to socials, and our Annual Sports Ball. Training takes place every Monday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at North Liverpool Academy (120 Heyworth Street), welcoming all skill levels. Members travel together by bus from Queen Square (bus stand 6). Socials happen every Wednesday with different themes, and we also meet occasionally for relaxed get-togethers.
We’re a sociable and inclusive group who love playing Rounders and meeting new people. Whether you’re new to the sport or experienced, everyone is welcome. Come along and be part of a supportive community where you can have fun, get active, and make friends.
Each sports club is led by a student committee responsible for running the club, organising activities, and representing members. The committee is chaired by the Club Captain, with support from other elected roles.
