Moore Student Radio is the official student-run radio station of Liverpool John Moores University,  a vibrant hub where creativity, conversation, and community come together.

 

We give students the platform to share their passions, spark discussions, and showcase their talent through music, talk shows, podcasts, and live broadcasts. Whether you’re spinning the latest tracks, debating hot topics, covering sports, or crafting original audio content, MSR is your stage to be heard.

We have already made waves: we recently appeared on the BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show with Greg James, won 8 Amplify Awards, and were crowned Society of the Year at JMSU in 2025 🏆.

 

We’re more than just a radio station. Whether you want to host a live show, produce podcasts, manage our website, write bulletins, or collaborate on special projects, there’s something for everyone. You’ll gain hands-on experience in presenting, broadcasting, audio editing, and content production,  perfect for anyone interested in media, communication, or simply trying something new.

 

Moore Student Radio also offers a professional studio space in the Student Life Building, regular training sessions, and a supportive, vibrant community where you can meet people from across campus and build lasting friendships.

 

With complete creative freedom to entertain, inform, and inspire, your work will reach a live audience across campus and beyond. Moore Student Radio is led by a student Executive Team, responsible for running the station, organising activities, and representing its members.
