About Us

We are a group of 12th century reenactors that demonstrate the life and battles of the period working with Historia Normannis and English Heritage at events and shows across the UK. We train in combat every weekend and craft our own clothing and some of our weapons for use at events. If any of this sparks an interest in you, we definitely recommend coming along to one of our training sessions and getting stuck in with people that you can learn more about us from first hand. Absolutely anyone is welcome and we hope to see you on the battlefield!

Key Information (When, Where and How Often We Meet)

We meet twice a week, Thursdays 6.00pm~9.00pm for a craft session in the SLB (usually in UG15) and Sundays 12pm~5pm for training in SLB sports studio 1. If you want to join feel free to turn up and have a go even if just briefly, everyone is welcome even if you're only interested in the combat or the craft side.

Why Should You Join Us?

Normannis is a fun and entertaining way to learn about the middle ages.

Aside from combat there is also opportunities to learn new crafts from leather work to maille.

It is also a huge opportunity meet new people with the same interests from across the country.
