Please use the ‘BOOK NOW’ icon if you would like to attend elections, either to vote, or to apply for a role.

How to apply:

Roles available: 2021/2022 Committee roles @ Liverpool John Moores University Students' Union (jmsu.co.uk)
1. You must be a registered member of the society. If you are not, you can become a member for free here: Law @ Liverpool John Moores University Students' Union (jmsu.co.uk).
2. You must sign up to the elections by clicking the ‘BOOK NOW’ icon on this page.
3. Prepare a short speech about why you want to apply for the role (this does not need to be anything formal). The speech should last around 2 minutes.
4. Attend elections (hosted via Zoom) on 26/02/2021 at 4pm, where you will be invited to give your speech. Please note, the link will be sent out on the morning of elections.
5. You may be asked some questions - this is nothing to worry about, elections are informal.
6. You will be noticed soon after if you have been elected.

You can apply for more than one role, but will only be given the role which you got the highest votes for.

Please note, anybody that is not a member of the society by 26/02/2021 at 4pm will not be able to apply for a role.

4. A link to the elections ballot will be sent given out on 26/02/2021.
5. Your vote must be cast within 10 minutes of elections finishing.

Please note, compliance with steps 1-3 will be checked, failure to comply will result in your vote being void.
