About Us
Welcome to the LJMU K-pop Society, where we celebrate all things K-pop! Whether you’re obsessed with the powerful performances of BTS and Blackpink, the catchy beats of Aespa and ITZY, or the classic vibes of BIGBANG and Sechskies, there’s a place for you here. Our diverse committee represents fans from a wide spectrum of groups—girl groups, boy bands, and multi-stan enthusiasts alike—ensuring a truly inclusive atmosphere. We’re committed to growing the K-pop community at Liverpool, working alongside local K-pop organisations and societies to create exciting collaborations and events. Beyond music and dance, we encourage our members to connect, share their interests, and celebrate Korean culture together in a friendly, open environment.
Key Information
We usually meet every Wednesday evening from 6:00 pm, primarily in the Student Life Building (SLB). However, meeting times and locations can vary depending on the event or activity planned, so it’s best to keep an eye on our Instagram for the latest updates and room announcements. Committee
Each society is led by a student committee responsible for running the society, organising activities, and representing its members. The committee is chaired by the Society President, with support from other elected roles.
