At First Love Society, our mission is simple yet profound: to inspire every young person to experience the transformative love of Jesus Christ. We are a vibrant community united by our shared belief that Jesus died for each one of us, and that loving God and loving others is at the heart of our faith. Our society spans multiple universities across the UK, creating a diverse yet close-knit family of students committed to living out this calling. Throughout the academic year, we organize a wide range of events designed to foster fellowship, joy, and spiritual growth—whether through worship, fun social activities, or outreach opportunities. We welcome everyone, regardless of background or previous faith experience, and strive to create a space where all feel valued, supported, and inspired.
Key Information
We meet regularly at the Student Life Building Activity Space on Wednesdays at 7 pm and Sundays at 1 pm, but our activities extend far beyond these times. Our calendar is packed with exciting events including concerts, game nights, movie screenings, and vibrant outdoor festivals featuring music, singing, and dancing. Special occasions like Black Tie Balls, summer camps, and holiday celebrations (Christmas and Easter) bring our community together in memorable ways. We also maintain an active presence online to connect with members who may prefer virtual engagement or who are unable to attend in person. Committee
Each society is led by a student committee responsible for running the society, organising activities, and representing its members. The committee is chaired by the Society President, with support from other elected roles.
