The LJMU Doctor Who Society is a passionate group of fans united by a shared love for the longest-running sci-fi TV show in history. We gather regularly to watch classic episodes and new releases, engage in lively debates about time travel theories and Doctor incarnations, and celebrate all things Whovian—from the Daleks to the TARDIS, companions to villains. Key Information
We meet weekly in a comfortable space on campus, usually on Thursday evenings from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with location details and updates posted on our Instagram and Discord channels. Screenings of episodes, panel discussions, and special events happen throughout the year, including meetups during major Doctor Who anniversaries and sci-fi conventions. Membership fees help support themed events, guest speakers, and collaborative projects. Each society is led by a student committee responsible for running the society, organising activities, and representing its members. The committee is chaired by the Society President, with support from other elected roles.
