Hello & Welcome!!!

Liverpool Cathsoc is open to all university students, past and present. Whether you are interested in exploring and practicing the Christian life, or simply want to hang out with us; please get in touch.

There will be ample opportunity to explore and deepen one’s faith, as we gather for regular Mass and grow a deeper appreciation for the sacraments which Christ left us.

Furthermore, you will gain the chance not only to grow in faith, but also as a person; through student-led prayer, visiting speakers, events, an annual retreat, as well as charitable work. You are guaranteed to meet great people and strengthen new relationships.

It is also important to remember, our church has been meeting up to eat and drink for thousands of years....   

Key Information (When, Where, and How Often We Meet)

Our society is open to everybody, you do not need to be a Catholic or even religious, we have many who join our socials and events, who are not members of our church; simply because they enjoy what we do.

We have established amazing friendships with numerous other chaplaincies and societies; always seeking opportunities to host or take part in joint socials/ events.

 One of the most beautiful truths of the Catholic prayer life is that it can be practiced in so many ways, encouraging individuality, we accommodate them all; whether you are a Charismatic, or a person of deep liturgical reflection, you are all welcome and appreciated. Come and join our community!!!

Mass times at our Chaplaincy: (St Philip Neri Chruch)

Sundays @ 18:00

We also aim to host faith-based activities on Mondays such as bible study, YouCat etc.

Tuesdays will be our social/event nights.

Our Amazing Chaplaincy team will host certain events throughout the term.

Mental & Physical Health Awareness is important and we aim to encourage it, we offer confidential advice and support.
