About Our Group

Our team is made up of both experienced and new basketball players! We love everyone to participate on and off the court, through training, games, and socials!

Currently, we have one competitive team competing in the BUCS Northern Tier 2 League as well as the Conference Cup!

This season, we hope to have the most successful year as a team ever, but most importantly we want to make sure everyone has fun, can develop their skills and make new friendships both inside the squad and across the other LJMU sports and clubs!

Key Information (When, Where and How Often We Meet)

When: Every Monday 9pm – 10:30pm

Game Day: Wednesday

Where: LJMU Sports Centre

Why Should You Join Us?

We would love you to join LJMU Women’s Basketball as we are a friendly, welcoming, and encouraging team who want to have fun both on and off the court.

We would love to have players join from any level and it is the perfect place to make new friends and learn new skills both of which can be scary to do!

Through joining a sport, you gain the opportunity to create a new set of friends, a new skill/ sport you may not have tried before and it gives you a huge opportunity to involve yourself in every aspect of university life through events, socials, training, games and competitions!
