JMSU are delighted to bring back Societies and Volunteering Awards, even bigger and better than before! 

We are heading to Boxpark on Friday 17th April 2026 to celebrate our amazing societies, student volunteers and voluntary organisations.

Venue: Boxpark, Brewery Village, Beaufort St, Liverpool, L8 5XJ

Date: Friday 17th April 2026

Time: Arrive between 6:30pm and 7:00pm

FAQ's:

How much does the societies and volunteering awards ticket cost and what does it include?

Tickets cost £26 per person. This includes: 

• 3 Free Drink Tokens
• Choice of Street food (£20's worth)
• Photobooth 
• Post Award Bingo hosted by DJ Tizzle!
• Afterparty

When do tickets go on sale?

Tickets for Committee will be on sale from 12pm on Monday 23rd March

Tickets for non-committee members will be on sale from 12pm on Friday 3rd April

All Tickets will close on 9th April at Midnight

Please note that purchases in the committeee only period will be checked and any non-committee purchases will be refunded.

Is transport included?

Transport is not included.

What time can I arrive?

Arrival from 6:30pm to 7:00pm.

What time does the awards finish?

The awards will finish around 9:30pm but don't go anywhere as theres a dancefloor with a DJ, Bingo and lots of other surprises until 1am!

Can I bring a plus one?

The awards are just for LJMU students who are society members or student volunteers and all attendees are required to buy a ticket.

Will there be a multi-faith space/prayer?

Yes, there will be a designated multi-faith space/prayer room at the venue.

Will there be a quiet space?

Yes, there will be a designated quiet space room at the venue.

Is there a dress code?

The dress code is Smart Casual.
