Fresh off the back of keeping her spot as your Vice President Activities for the second year running, Clodagh has been successfully elected a British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCs) Officer after a ballot was held last week.
Clodagh will join a team of three other Officers from Leeds, Warwick and Edinburgh Universities and together they will help to shape the strategic direction of higher education (HE) sport by sitting on BUCS Advisory Group and providing a conduit for feedback and communication with the membership. Clodagh’s position will also play an important role in the Sabbatical Officer Network by making sure the voice of the students is used to inform BUCS operations.
Clodagh has already started her new voluntary position alongside her role at JMSU and is excited to turn up the heat on improving experiences for all student-kind.
We hope you will join us in wishing Clodagh the best of luck for her exciting year ahead! You can find out more about BUCs here.
