Officer win: Shaquita's extension work
Hi guys! I just wanted to give you an update on my latest Officer Win regarding extension processes for assessments.
I know that applying for an extension has previously been a lengthy process and may have caused frustration for students. So, I have been working alongside LJMU Academic Registry and have successfully implemented a simple-step process that students can now use to apply for an extension if in need.
Circumstances around applying for an extension often cause students a great deal of stress, so an easy way to apply means one less thing to worry about. For stage two, I plan to explore the reasons for extensions to see if further support is available to help students reduce the need for one. I will keep you posted on my progress and will hopefully follow up with this during semester two!
