Each year, four students are elected to lead JMSU, represent students’ voices, and work directly with the University to improve things that matter – from teaching and assessment to wellbeing, events, and campus life.

You don’t need to be “political” or have done this before. If you care about improving student life, you’re already qualified to apply.
How to nominate yourself 📲
Nominate yourself before 12pm on Friday 13th February 2026 ⌛
You’ll need to submit a photo and a short (max 250 words) manifesto explaining the issues you would address if elected. You can edit your nomination as many times as you like before the deadline.
