St Joseph's Hospice opened its doors in Thornton, Merseyside, in 1974 and has held a special place in the heart of our community ever since.
Today, the hospice offers high-quality, professional nursing care within a peaceful, home from home environment surrounded by 12 acres of beautiful woodland gardens.
We care for around 200 patients, and their families, every year from across a diverse geographical area, which includes Sefton, Liverpool and West Lancashire.
We’re looking for volunteers to help with our bucket collection at Aintree Racecourse on Saturday 11th April.
No experience necessary – just bring your smile and a willingness to help!
Join us in raising vital funds for St Joseph’s Hospice. Last year, thanks to our incredible volunteers we raised an amazing £1800. Every single penny makes a difference and helps us continue providing essential care to those who need it most.
If you can spare a few hours from 3:30pm-7pm to support us, we’d love to hear from you .
Please contact our volunteering co-ordinator, Siobhan, on 0151 932 6028 or email: volunteering@stjhospice.org.uk to sign up!
