Course Rep

What They Do

Course Reps represent students on their course by gathering feedback on modules, teaching, and the overall learning experience. They work directly with programme teams to improve academic life.

Benefits

Course Reps get access to training, official merch, and exclusive events like Lunch & Listen. You’ll build skills in communication, leadership, and teamwork and log accredited volunteer hours for your CV.

How to Get Involved

You can volunteer or be elected by your peers. Simply register with JMSU and attend a training session to get started.

School Rep

What They Do

School Reps are paid student leaders who support Course Reps and raise school-wide issues to senior academic staff. They attend faculty-level meetings and represent multiple programmes.

Benefits

As a School Rep, you’ll be paid for your time and receive exclusive training and School Rep merch. You’ll gain experience in policy work and present at major events like the Student Experience Awards.
