As we fall back in to a second lockdown, we wanted to provide you with some resources and remind you that you are not alone.

This year has been a struggle, with an unexpected pandemic and constant lockdowns and rules that mean we feel isolated and can’t see anyone. I know I have been finding it hard, I miss normality and my family but I try to remember that I need to find positives in this situation, which is definitely easier said then done. Throughout lockdown, I picked up some new hobbies such as journaling, knitting, reading as much as I can, FaceTimeing old and new friends and these hobbies kept me sane. Some things I find helpful is reading your favourite book, speaking to a friend, watching a favourite movie or tv show, doing some exercise or going on a walk, listening to your favourite songs and I know it sounds silly but dancing to a good song is such a good way to get all that anxious energy out and I urge you to give it a go! Also, I tried to find resources that could help me with my anxiety and I had therapy which was so helpful throughout this period. What I am trying to say, is that you are not alone and we are here for each other. We need to look out for one another and reach out if we feel lost. We have to remember that their is a light at the end of the tunnel and hopefully some normality will be with us for Christmas. This isn’t a permanent situation and it will pass.

I have linked some resources on our instagram stories and in this post and I urge you to take a look even if you just feel a little worried or are feeling unsure. Our messages are always open and although we can’t provide clinical advice, if you need someone to talk to or are feeling lonely we are here.

Stay Positive
