Liverpool John Moores Islamic Society (ISOC) is a vibrant student community dedicated to fostering faith, friendship, and personal growth among Muslim students and allies. We create a welcoming environment where everyone can explore Islam, connect socially, and support one another throughout university life.

About Us

Asalamu alaikum and welcome to LJMU Islamic Society! Our mission is to build a strong, supportive Muslim community at John Moores University, insha’Allah. We provide a space where you can make new friends, gain valuable Islamic knowledge, participate in a variety of engaging activities, and enjoy meaningful social events. ISOC is more than just a society — it’s a family where every member matters. We pride ourselves on creating a warm, inclusive atmosphere that truly makes you feel at home. Whether you are a practicing Muslim, exploring your faith, or simply curious, you are warmly invited to join us. Our dedicated committee is always eager to hear your ideas, offer advice, and welcome you across campus. We also extend open arms to non-Muslim students interested in learning about Islam, guiding you with respect and understanding as you explore this beautiful religion.
