At last, the hiking club does a multi-day hike! This will take us to Coniston in the Lake District! (This is a members only hike so if you haven't please buy your membership). We will be meeting outside the student life building at 10:30am on the 16^th of May and returning to Liverpool at roughly 4:45 two days later. The main route will be suited to beginner/intermediate hikers, with a decent level of fitness needed.
 

The Three days will consist of two hikes with the main one being to the old man Coniston summiting multiple wainwrights! The main route is 17km across many scenic points starting and ending at the hostel. With the location of the hostel there may also be some swimming and other activities.
 

As always you will be required to have suitable walking boots, a rucksack, waterproofs, gloves, hat and plenty of layers in case of the cold. Those without suitable equipment will not be allowed on the hike. Food will be discussed nearer the time, if you have any allergies or dietary requirements please speak with a committee member.
