The Boardroom features 2 stories of bouldering, an array of lead climbing routes and plenty of top roping. The Boardroom also has the psicobloc which is an 8 metre bouldering wall. This trip was meant to be outdoors to the Roaches but unfortunately due to weather we have had to postpone this. The Boardroom will still be a fun day out regardless. 

We are setting off at 10:30 and the drive is around 45 minutes depending on traffic. We will be staying at the venue for 2-3 hours before heading back. The event is set to end at 15:30 but this could be earlier or later depending on traffic and how long we all want to stay at the venue, it is unlikely that we will be back in Liverpool significantly later than 15:30

The ticket grants you travel to and from The Boardroom in a car driven by members of the society. It does not grant you access to The Boardroom. It also does not cover the costs of any food. 

It will cost you £12.50 for a day pass to The Boardroom. Please note that there is charges for hiring equipment at The Boardroom, Shoes: £4, Harness: £4, Both: £7. The majority of us will be bouldering so would only need to buy shoes if you did not have any but the option is there to do ropes. The following is a link to the form to complete to be able to climb at The Boardroom unsupervised, please only complete this form if you are an experienced climber (https://www.theboardroomclimbing.com/north-wales/online-waiver/), there are separate forms on The Boardroom website if you are an inexperienced climber or alternatively you can do these forms at the venue but it will save time filling out these forms prior to attending. 

There is a cafe at the venue to eat and there may be other opportunities to eat elsewhere on the journey there or back however I would recommend having breakfast and bringing some snacks anyway. The cost of any food is not included with the ticket.
