About Us

Welcome to LJMU Archery! We are a new and diverse club looking for members to expand our club. LJMU Archery is a friendly and welcoming club, and due to our small numbers, it's easy to get to know everyone quickly!

Our sessions have a relaxed atmosphere, so it doesn't matter if you're a seasoned pro or a complete beginner, just come along and give it a go. There's no pressure to compete, but if you'd like to, we're planning exciting opportunities this year and beyond!

Key Information  

We are running a free taster session on the morning of 23rd September in the LJMU Sports Centre (in the sports hall) from 10-12. All levels are welcome - just turn up!

We practise in the LJMU Sports Hall and provide all the equipment necessary. Training is 9:00-10:30 on Saturday mornings. We also support the 'play sport' sessions run by LJMU Sport straight after at 10:30-11:30!

We are fully insured, and all instructors are trained to oversee the sessions safely.

Why you should join us

Archery helps to develop power, muscular endurance and coordination and teaches you to focus and stay calm under pressure. Plus, you'll look cool while doing it 😎

It's a great stress reliever - so shoot away any assignment worries in the safety of the sports hall!

We are also going to be organising a range of socials this year, from quiz nights to indoor rock climbing, so there's something for everyone! All socials will be alcohol-free (with the option to go out afterwards of course!).
