Student Experience Awards 2024
Spirits were high as we indulged in a night of celebration, award winning and delicious food. Our annual Student Experience Awards took place in one of Liverpool’s most iconic buildings, the Town Hall. Guests arrived to the sound of the string quartet, an unintentional ode to the new Bridgerton series starting. We enjoyed some complimentary drinks on arrival, photo opportunities aplenty and above all a grand awards evening that celebrated the success of LJMU staff and students.
Whilst our usual host for the Evening VP Education Shaquita Corry-Powell couldn't attend, she was able to deliver emotional and well crafted speeches via video to our guests and winners. She told us 'It's been a pleasure being your Vice President for the past two years. So many of you in this room have helped bring my manifesto to life, so a gigantic thank you to everyone!'
Thank you to each and every presenter who helped us deliver a spectacular experience, we couldn’t have done it without you.
