Pronoun Badges

Last year, we launched our Getting it Right campaign - which aims to tackle the stigma around sharing your pronouns. We pride ourselves in being an inclusive organisation, as we also aim to ensure all students feels welcome, feel safe and feel heard. By providing pronouns badges for every student, we want to show solidarity with those who have been made to feel uncomfortable or isolated by people who deliberately or unintentionally use incorrect pronouns for them. Pronouns badges provide us with an important opportunity to help transform society and celebrate people’s multiple, intersecting identities. Grab your free badge today.

LJMU trans and non binary student support

We have also been working closely with LJMU Student Advice and Wellbeing to launch a new policy that protects and support trans and non binary students further at LJMU. The LJMU Student Inclusion team act as a first point of contact for students who may need practical support around transitioning at university, including using their chosen name in lectures, as well as on ID cards.
