JMSU is launching a new awareness campaign on Monday 25 January 2021, highlighting that students are not alone and help is available. According to a survey* of UK adults which took place into Covid-19 restrictions, one in four (24%) adults in the UK said they had feelings of loneliness. The campaign, You Are Not Alone, will aim to raise awareness and get you active at this difficult time.
We challenge LJMU students to walk, run or cycle to help us reach 5991.6km. Thatβs 5991.6km for the 24% of LJMU students that say their mental health has declined due to the current pandemic.
π How to get involved π
- Run or Walk and submit your distance here.
- Tag us (@teamljmu and @johnmooressu) on social media when you're out walking, running or cycling!
- Keep going and keep posting, let's raise awareness of the importance of mental health together!
- Your distance will be recorded and added to our leaderboard. Students groups will also have a separate leaderboard.
