If you’re a first year student living in a city centre halls of residence and studying a full-time undergraduate programme you’re entitled to a one-off contribution towards travel costs during the 2015/16 academic year. Providing you meet the eligibility criteria outlined below you are entitled to claim £125.
you must be living in a city-centre hall of residence
you must be studying an undergraduate programme full-time at Level 4 at the IM Marsh campus
full-time home, EU and international students are eligible to apply
How to make a claim
To claim this contribution, you must:
complete your enrolment at the University for the 2015/2016 academic year
send an email from your LJMU email account to marshtravel@ljmu.ac.uk with the following information:
Full name
Date of birth
LJMU student ID number (six digits)
Name of the hall where you will be living during the 2015/16 academic year
You will also need to send a photo of a valid travel pass (or season ticket) clearly showing your name, photo and the expiry date. When emailing your photo please make sure that you also include all of the above details to enable your claim is processed.
Please note that you can claim this contribution for travel passes (or season tickets) of any type and duration - weekly, monthly, term-time or annual. Please go to the Merseytravel website to see the range of passes and tickets available.
How you will be notified if your claim is successful
Once your payment has been approved, you will receive an email to your LJMU account with details about when your cheque will be available for collection from the IM Marsh Library.
