We had a very busy week in sports last week with 27 BUCS games, teams travelling for competitions and hosting fundrasiers. This Student Can camapign also got off to an amazing start last week as well with all our Sports and Socieites opening up taster sessions for students to try out. We also have a non-gender specific Football session on the 3rd and a Sitting Volleyball session on the 5th February.

A huge shout out to Women's Lacrosse who even though were 2 players short had a very close game with Keele (very strong) 1st team and dispite the win kept up the team spirit and team work throughout the game. A special mention to Karin whos last match it was also!
Competition Entries:
Athletics - Atheltics had a trip to Edinburgh where they competed in the Ladies Short Race, Mens Short Race, Ladies Long Race and Men's Long Race.
Fundraisers:
Netball - Netball held a reunion tournament this weekend and rasied and AMAZING £500.56 for Alder Hey Childrens Charity and The Brain Tumour Charity

This week the Team of the Week (for the 2nd time) is Men's Basketball! Both teams have gone undeafteed in the Legaue and this week they were wearing their new kit proudly. Keep up the amazing hard work!
