This year we are celebrating our seventh annual Amazing Teaching Awards, which provides students with the opportunity to nominate and reward the fantastic contributions made by lecturers, as well as the contributions made by Course Representatives, who have gone above and beyond to make a difference to students’ lives and make education at Liverpool John Moores University the best it can be.
This year we received a staggering 1,887 nominations from students, who nominated over 700 staff members, over 40 course teams and over 70 Course Reps within 7 different award categories! We are delighted to see that so many of you wanted to recognise and reward your teachers and Course Reps for their dedication and positive contributions to your university experiences.
Our dedicated shortlisting panel made up of previous winners, LJMU Staff, Liverpool SU Officers and LJMU students met on Wednesday 6th April 2016 to read through all of our students nominations and to narrow down the nominees, by judging the quality of the nominations and shortlisting the nominations which best met our awards criteria.
Following a difficult day of shortlisting we are pleased to announce that the following candidates have been shortlisted for our 2016 Amazing Teaching Awards, which will be held on Thursday 26th May, at the Marriott Hotel Liverpool where our winners for each category will be announced!!
If your lecturer is below, congratulate them and show your support! #ATA16
