We’re currently looking for enthusiastic student volunteers to join us in creating an inclusive and supportive environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for your students to:

  • Make a meaningful difference in the lives of others

  • Develop valuable skills in communication, teamwork, and leadership

  • Gain hands-on experience in social care, event support, or creative workshops

  • Enhance their CVs with accredited training and references

At L’Arche Liverpool, we believe that everyone—regardless of ability—has something unique to offer. We are a community where people with and without learning disabilities live, work, and grow together in mutual friendship, respect, and joy.

As a volunteer, you’ll join a welcoming and values-driven environment that places relationships at the heart of everything we do. You’ll have the opportunity to support adults with learning disabilities (our "core members") through a wide range of activities—creative sessions, community events, shared meals, reflective gatherings, or training workshops.

Whether you’re looking to build experience in social care, education, or community development—or simply want to be part of something meaningful—there’s a place for you here. We offer flexible volunteering (2–6 hours per week), full training, and ongoing support. You’ll grow in empathy, confidence, and connection while helping others do the same.

Join us in making Liverpool a more inclusive and compassionate city—one relationship at a time.
