Following on from the Vice Chancellors email on Sunday that all face to face teaching has stopped for this semester. JMSU and the University have made the difficult decision to cancel all sport and societies activity for this semester. The health and wellbeing of our members is the number one priority during this unprecedented time and we are taking the action to protect our student, staff and members.

Sport and society activity refers to everything that is organised by groups. Please see below some examples of activities that are cancelled:-

·         Meetings & Training sessions

·         AGM’s

·         Fixtures including BUCS, Competitions, Friendlies & Tournaments

·         Trips inside and outside of Liverpool

·         Socials

·         Awards Evenings e.g. Balls

·         Committee Meetings

We have also taken the decision to cancel Sports and Societies Awards and a full refund will be given to all members that purchased the first release of tickets. The winners of the awards will be revealed on social media over the next couple of weeks.
