The Vocaloid Society is a vibrant community for fans and creators who share a passion for Vocaloid — the groundbreaking singing voice synthesiser software that allows users to craft unique songs using virtual singers called voice banks. This society welcomes anyone fascinated by the world of Vocaloids, Utaus, and other vocal synthesizers, whether you’re a longtime fan, a budding music producer, or simply curious about the culture surrounding these digital voices and their iconic characters. It’s a space where music, creativity, and fandom come together in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

About Us

Our society brings together students who love Vocaloid music, the culture around it, and the technology behind the voice synthesis. Whether you’re drawn to the catchy tunes, the engaging characters, or the creative potential of producing your own songs, you’ll find a welcoming community here. We provide a friendly environment for sharing knowledge, exploring new music, discussing favorite Vocaloids and Utaus, and collaborating on creative projects. Whether you want to learn how to use the software, discover new music genres within the Japanese music scene, or just chill with others who share your interests, the Vocaloid Society is the perfect place to connect and grow your passion.

Key Information

For the 2024/25 academic year, the Vocaloid Society plans to meet once a week. The exact dates, times, and venues will be regularly updated on our Discord server and Instagram page, ensuring everyone stays in the loop. Our sessions are designed to be relaxed and inclusive — whether you want to learn the software, share your creations, or just hang out and listen to music, there’s a place for you here. The casual setting encourages members to come as they are and engage at their own pace, making the society accessible to newcomers and veterans alike.

Why Us?

Joining the Vocaloid Society means stepping into a welcoming and supportive space where you can deepen your understanding of Vocaloid and other voice synthesizer software, meet people who share your passion, and take part in a variety of fun and educational activities. Whether you’re interested in exploring Japanese music genres, honing your music production skills, or simply enjoying time with fellow enthusiasts, this society offers all that and more. It’s a safe and friendly community that encourages creativity, learning, and connection, making it an ideal place to make friends and build your skills while indulging in your love for Vocaloid culture.
