About Us

LJMU students, can we ask you a 'question...?' Do you love Taylor Swift? If so, we have the society for you! The Taylor Swift society has recently been established by LJMU students from a variety of different courses and year groups who have been brought together by one similarity - a love for Taylor Swift.

Throughout the year, we will meet up and participate in Taylor-themed activites, from making friendship bracelets, to quizzes and many more! However, for those of you who just want to chill after a day of lectures and listen to folklore, then that is perfectly fine too! The ultimate purpose of this society is to create a safe and comfortable place for people to come and be themselves freely (and to listen to Taylor of course!). 

Everybody is welcome to join us - whether you know Taylor 'all too well', or whether you have only been a fan for a few days. We are open to anyone and everyone!   

So! To cut a 'long story short' - if this society is the one for you, then 'speak now' and join us! 

Key Information (When, Where, and How Often We Meet)

We plan to meet as and when is suitable for the majority but mostly on Thursdays! Although this may change for events/ album releases/ other circumstances that may arise.

Why Should You Join Us?

We decided to establish this society with one specific purpose in mind: to make friends. There is nothing more frustrating than Taylor announcing a new album and having nobody to share the excitement with.. but our society will fix that. So if you are looking to find fellow swifties, come along and we promise you that you will leave each session feeling like you just had 'the best day'.
