Whether you love jazz or you're just a casual music enthusiast looking to enhance your playlists, this is the society for you. You don't even need to play an insturment; this is simply a place for people to come together and appreciate great music. Whether it's relaxing with others to the beautiful sounds of Miles Davis or swinging to classic jazz crooners like Frank Sinatra, you'll fit right in.
These are just a few of the many incredible Jazz artists and singers, both well-known. However, this is a place to explore the vast world of amazing and cool musicians, whether popular or hidden gems. From modern-day Jazz talents like Jamie Cullum, Brian Culbertson, Boney James, Robert Glasper, Gregory Porter and Kamasi Washington, to the legendary greats like Louis Armstrong, John Coltrane, Ella Fitzgerald, Duke Ellington, and the many crooners of the jazz era, We are open to it all.

Key Information (When, Where and How Often We Meet) |

We plan to meet regularly for a variety of events, typically occurring every week or so. You can stay updated through our Instagram. DMs are always open!
Our events will include gatherings in the Student Life building for jazz-themed get-togethers and events, as well as nights out to jazz clubs and bars. |

Why should you?
Well, because jazz is cool! While some might dismiss it as just elevator music, jazz is so much more. There's nothing better than being in a bar with jazz playing in the background or swinging the night away to a big band. University can be stressful, but it can also be an incredible experience, and music helps us navigate the ups and downs. Jazz music is also therapeutic; it has been helpful for studying and takes you to a safe space. It re-energizes you. So why not come together and enjoy something that you and many others love? We are an inclusive group that is happy to welcome anyone, so don’t be afraid!
