About Our Group

The John Moore's Drama Society is now entering its third glorious year!

This year we will be expanding our horizons, putting on lots of great events and socials, as well as continuing to host fun and informal weekly sessions.

Each Wednesday we will hold a session for 2 hours in the drama building, where we will run workshops, play games, perform for each other and work towards performances.

The calendar year will climax with our first ever Christmas Festival of Drama and Arts, where people can put on performances and enjoy watching great shows.

So whether you just want a laugh and to meet some new people, or whether you are serious about performance, JMSU Drama Society is for you!

Why You Should Join Us?

Each week we will encourage performances to be shared, so you can try out anything from monologues, duologues, stand up, improv, dance routines, music performances or even performance art!

This is optional, you can just come along for the thrills and spills.

This is also a great chance to get constructive feedback if you want, and to get ideas about how to improve as an actor/ writer.

You can even just come along for the free crisps if you like, but don’t steal them all, otherwise Charlie will be angry.
