The Whitechapel Centre Care and Share - Donation Packing and Xmas Crafts
This year JMSU is teaming up with The Whitechapel Centre to create care packages for homeless people over Christmas. Drop-in any time at the JMSU Activity Space, SLB UG. 17 where we will be sorting donations and running arts and crafts activities to provide decorations and messages to hostels and other accommodations.
Donation points are set up at the SLB - JMSU Reception, Avril Robarts Library and John Foster Reception. We are asking students and staff to donate:
Food that is non-perishable/can be prepared without a cooker
Chocolate Selection Boxes
New pyjamas, boxers & socks
Toiletry gift sets
Hats, scarves & gloves
Christmas food treats
Stocking fillers
Venue/Timing
