Martin our University Police Officer is easily accessible to anyone who wants to discuss their experience, report a crime, or ask for advice and guidance.
Every Thursday, Friday, and Monday between 10am and 12noon, PC Martin Triggs, who is assigned to LJMU, will be in the Student Life Building and available to any student who wants to talk and discuss their concerns or personal experience. If you wish to speak to him visit the JMSU desk and “Ask for Martin”. You do not need to reveal any more details than you want to, and can speak to Martin in confidence.
In addition, you can also report directly via the Merseyside Police website.
The Student Life Building is also a safe refuge at any time of day, with LJMU security based in the building 24/7. If you are concerned about your own or anyone else’s welfare, at any time, then the team at SLB will provide safety and support.
The University’s Student Advice and Welfare support services can also be accessed online, in person or by phone.
You can contact PC Martin Triggs at any time by emailing Martin.B.Triggs@merseyside.police.uk
