Soe candidates revealed

We are excited to reveal the 19 candidates who have put themselves forward for the role of a lifetime and will be standing in the Student Officer Elections 2023/24.

See the candidates and find out more about them on our dedicated candidate page.

The candidates are running for roles in four Student Officer positions:

President, Vice President (Activities), Vice President (Education) and Vice President (Community & Wellbeing).

They will be campaigning hard for your votes in a bid to secure a space at JMSU HQ and take the lead - protecting your university experience and speaking on your behalf to create positive change.

Get to know them at our Meet The Candidates event on 23rd February, where you can ask any burning questions you have, whilst taking full advantage of the free dinner and drinks we will be providing for all students who attend.

Then, you can tell us who you think should lead JMSU when voting opens at 8am on Monday 6th March. Voting will close Midday on Friday 10th March.

Keep up to date with our social media channels for more information on the candidates and election, as well as be in the draw for winning some spectacular prizes throughout the week.

Make sure to check back on Friday 10th March at our Officer Elections Results Night Party for the results!
