What better way to kick off the month of June than with a long Bank Holiday? There are so many intereting events and activites going on in Liverpool this weekend, and sometimes it can be quite overwhelming trying to find something to do. That's why we've created a list of all the fun things that are available to you this Bank Holiday. Worried you can't fit it all in? Not to worry! Some of these events are carrying on throughout the whole summer, so it's now time to start your 2022 Liverpool bucket list.
Food and Drink -
There are many food and drink events and festivals starting from the 2nd June. Head down the Baltic Market for their amazing Baltic Weekender their multi-venuemulti-genre festival of good food and good music. Make your way over to Taste Liverpool's Drink Bordeaux festival and discover their vibrant celebration of the city’s famous hospitality venues and cultures. Alternatively, you can also go to PINS for their PINS Summercamp (available to book all summer) you can book a cabin or daybed on their rooftop or turn up for the array of DJs and live music acts.
Entertainment and Education -
Funny Boyz Liverpool are hosting an event called Divas at the Cavern - enjoy bottomless fizz, 2 course meal and live caberet at the Cavern Restaurant- truly a night to remember. You can visit the Albert Docks and visit a range of different museums such as the TATE Livepool, Museum of Liverpool and the Maritime International Slavery Muesum. Venture further out to the World Museum on William Brown Street and discover many exhibitions, including Doctor Who: Worlds of Wonder.
Mersey Play Action Council (MPAC) also have a list of half-term events for children still running at the weekend, as well as information on community food spaces and providers.
